Public Events - offseason

MMHC offers a number of events throughout the mushroom hunting season and when that season is over it continues to provide learning opportunities and social activities. Watch this page for information on all of those events open to the public as details are finalized. Some events are for members only and if you are not a member but would like to be just click here for more information.

Mushroom educational seminars

March 18, 2012 - Chris Wright of Easygrow Mushrooms, Inc.

Program: A talk on mushrooms and their cultivation. As more details of the event are established they will be provided here.

The seminar and potluck will be held at the Farmington Liberty Street Library with the potluck beginning around 1:15 PM and the seminar occur soon afterward. All members and others interested in mushrooms are invited to attend. The club will furnish plates, silverware, cups, napkins, etc. There are plenty of electrical outlets for crock-pots, slow-cookers, rice steamers, etc. For more information contact Phil Tedeschi at (734) 355-0359 & philt@umich

Program: A talk focused on the Morel.
